Faith In God Changes Everything

Greetings to all, let us thank God for a new day and a new week that is before us and is full of His faithful love and promises. May He comfort those mourning, revive broken hearts, and heal all those in need of healing. Amen

We're living during a time in history where evil and chaos seem to be prevailing. But we do not have to worry or be afraid because our God is almighty and all-powerful.

He is always and forever faithful to disrupt and restrain the chaos and evil plans and provide us with safety even in the face of danger.

Lamentations 3:22-24 (HCSB)

22 Because of the LORD's faithful love, we do not perish, for His mercies never end.

23 They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness!

24 I say: The LORD is my portion, therefore I will put my hope in Him.

The only two things that can limit God are sin and unbelief. They both have the power to prevent God from moving and working in our lives.

Because the resurrection from the dead is a necessary belief of the Christian faith, God used Lazarus's raising as an essential display of his power to change things.

John 11:11-15 (GW)

11 After Jesus said this, he told his disciples, "Our friend Lazarus is sleeping, and I'm going to Bethany to wake him."

12 His disciples said to him, "Lord, if he's sleeping, he'll get well."

13 Jesus meant that Lazarus was dead, but the disciples thought Jesus meant that Lazarus was only sleeping.

14 Then Jesus told them plainly, "Lazarus has died,

15 but I'm glad that I wasn't there so that you can grow in faith. Let's go to Lazarus."

Lesson: As we navigate this week, no matter if our circumstances appear to be dead, let us not lose hope but let us trust God and believe in the many good things to come.

Let's not allow sin and unbelief to cause us to live our lives as if there is no God in Heaven.
