Greetings to all; this weekend, while we enjoy those we love and the fruits of our labor, let us remember that everything on earth is temporary.
We live for many things in this life that we can see. The only problem is that the things we can see are temporary. The one true thing we should live for is having eternal life.
2 Corinthians 4:18 (MSG)
18 There is far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we cannot see now will last forever.
Lesson: We can value the pleasures and joys we experience in this world. However, they and even our afflictions only last a little while. While it is okay to enjoy the things seen, the things unseen are our best days yet to come.
