Everything From God

Greetings to all; on this "grateful" Thursday, may we have the pleasure of knowing and recognizing everything comes from God.

We can get caught in the pull of desiring more and more good things. We ask God for more and even ask for what or who we want in our lives. We must have the presence of mind to know everything, such as people, events, and circumstances, that come into our lives are under the control of God. However, we sometimes must choose to wait on God for what He has for us.  

John 17:6–7 (NCV)

6 "I showed what you are like to those you gave me from the world. They belonged to you; you gave them to me, and they obeyed your teaching. 

7 Now they know that everything you gave me comes from you.

Lesson: God is the ultimate creator and the sustainer of the world, and everything we experience and encounter, good or bad in life, is part of His plan and must go through Him.
