Greetings to all; let us enjoy the weekend. Let our words be seasoned with goodness.
We often look to be rewarded for what we do, but we need to understand that we will not only be rewarded for what we do; but also for the words we speak.
Proverbs 18:20–21 (NIV)
20 From the fruit of his mouth, a man’s stomach is filled; with the harvest from his lips, he is satisfied.
21 The tongue has the power of life and death; those who love it will eat its fruit.
Lesson: The Bible teaches us that our words are powerful. We will be rewarded or punished for our words and how we speak. Carefully choosing our words is important because we may have to eat them and stand by them in the future.
