Don't Waste Time Looking At Closed Doors

Greetings to all, on this Friday, I pray that as this week comes to an end and we look back, we will thank God for the open and the closed doors. Amen

Opportunities will present themselves daily in our lives, and it is up to each of us when we get opportunities to do our part and leave the rest up to God even when we don't understand.

God knows all; He will open doors and close some doors that need to be closed. So many times, we pray and ask God to open doors for us but fail to walk through them because we are so preoccupied with looking at the doors that He has closed.

Revelation 3:7-8 (HCSB)

7 "Write to the angel of the church in Philadelphia: "The Holy One, the True One, the One who has the key of David, who opens and no one will close, and closes and no one opens says:

8 I know your works. Because you have limited strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name, look, I have placed before you an open door that no one is able to close.

Ephesians 5:15-17 (GW)

15 So then, be very careful how you live. Don't live like foolish people but like wise people.

16 Make the most of your opportunities because these are evil days.

17 So don't be foolish but understand what the Lord wants.

Lesson: We often associate open doors with joy and misunderstand and mistake the closed doors as a loud and resounding NO. Don't waste time looking at closed doors. God has the power to open and close doors that matter and promises there is something better.
