Greetings to all, "hump" day Wednesday, let us thank God that we can be confident and not fear anything because we are His. Amen
We will have those challenges of everyday living during life that will cause us to be anxious and possibly lose hope. We have made it halfway through this week, and some may have already met such challenges. For others, those challenges may not have manifested or come to pass. Either way, we must not forget who we are as God's people.
In times of distress, we can always trust and have confidence not only in who we are but mainly because of who the Lord is.
Psalm 27:1-3 (TLB)
1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; he protects me from danger—whom shall I fear?
2 When evil men come to destroy me, they will stumble and fall!
3 Yes, though a mighty army marches against me, my heart shall know no fear! I am confident that God will save me.
Romans 8:30-31 (TLB)
30 And having chosen us, he called us to come to him; and when we came, he declared us "not guilty," filled us with Christ's goodness, gave us right standing with himself, and promised us his glory.
31 What can we ever say to such wonderful things as these? If God is on our side, who can ever be against us?
Lesson: As sinners called to salvation, we have nothing to fear. Let us continue to be strong, courageous, and wait on the Lord.
