Don't Be Shaken

Greetings to all, let us trust God as we begin this first full week of the new year, and let us not doubt His unfailing Love for us. This week, as we reflect or look ahead to the future, let us first pray and ask the Lord to help us with our faith in Him. Amen

As we move and progress through life, at some point, we must realize that with the Lord on our side; we don't have to be afraid when we are going through challenging circumstances because they only come to teach us lessons.

Psalm 27:1 (NLT2)

1 The LORD is my light and my salvation—so why should I be afraid? The LORD is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?

As God's children, each of us is given a measure of faith that provides us with a unique sense of security (Ref. Romans 12:3). However, we must grow our faith into a healthy, strong, and unshakeable faith if we want to be able to shake off doubt and unbelief in our lives.

Psalm 16:7-8 (NLT2)

7 I will bless the LORD who guides me; even at night, my heart instructs me.

8 I know the LORD is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me.

Lesson: We don't have to be shaken or have a sense of hopelessness; we must understand that whether we're believers or unbelievers, we all experience challenging and painful times that will shake our faith if we are not grounded in the Lord.

Let us continue to seek God as we move ahead confidently, doing what is right in the eyes of God.
