Greetings to all, let us thank God for making it to the end of another week and for giving us what was needed to get things done. Let us also thank Him for all those who have been with us, helping us to get here. Amen
We often come to the end of the week and find ourselves being so concerned with either getting through the day or the things that are not going so well when God only commands us to love one another while we do what He expects us to do.
Colossians 3:23-24 (NLT2)
23 Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.
24 Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and that the Master you are serving is Christ.
2 Thessalonians 3:11-13 (MSG)
11 And now we're getting reports that a bunch of lazy good-for-nothings are taking advantage of you.
12 This must not be tolerated. We command them to get to work immediately—no excuses, no arguments—and earn their own keep.
13 Friends, don't slack off in doing your duty.
Lesson: We must commit to the Lord and leave the outcome of whatever we do or go through in His hands. It's Friday, Do your best and leave the rest to God.
