Greetings to all, on this Monday, we may not know what is ahead as we begin this new week, but we should give ourselves entirely to the work of the Lord. Amen
Each day can be stressful, but entering a new week can bring the added stress of the unknown. One way to ensure that we have a productive and successful week is to be mindful of our conversations.
Yes! We must not get so caught up talking to ourselves and listening to others that we forget the goodness of God. I was reading and came across a quote that says:
"Worry is a conversation you have with yourself about things you cannot change. Prayer is a conversation you have with God about the things He can change."
Psalm 27:13-14 (NKJV)
13 I would have lost heart unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
14 Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD!
John 9:4 (NKJV)
4 I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work.
Lesson: Although the reason for our hope is based on the goodness of God, we often lose hope. As a worker in God's kingdom, we must not give up. Each of us must continue doing the work He has set before us. He not only knows our future, but He writes it.
