Greetings to all, this Monday, as we begin this new week, let us prepare our hearts and minds to do our best and recognize that what we do matters. Amen
Things in life are never going to be perfect. And, while striving to do our best each day, many of us are not aware that we are causing undue stress and anxiety in our lives. We all want to do good or our best but somewhere along the way, we cross over the imaginary line of trying to be perfect rather than being our best.
Colossians 3:23-25 (NLT2)
23 Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.
24 Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward and that the Master you are serving is Christ.
25 But if you do what is wrong, you will be paid back for the wrong you have done. For God has no favorites.
Psalm 37:7 (MSG)
7 Quiet down before GOD, be prayerful before him. Don't bother with those who climb the ladder, who elbow their way to the top.
Lesson: Doing our best is always enough! Especially when we do what we do not for the attentions of others, but the glory of God. Let us not strive for perfection but focus on doing our best.
