Do Not Harden Your Heart

Greetings to all, as we begin this new week, let us not harden our hearts, but let us listen to God for the understanding to help as we move forward. Amen

Each new week, we face different challenges that have hard lessons. We must make a conscious effort to bring only the lessons learned, not the frustrations and resentments from last week, into our new week.

Because God can keep us from falling into despair, we must allow Him to strengthen us so that we are not overtaken by sin and become rebellious and hard-hearted.

Proverbs 28:14 (MSG)

14 A tenderhearted person lives a blessed life; a hardhearted person lives a hard life.

Hebrews 3:14-15 (NLT2)

14 For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ.

15 Remember what it says: “Today when you hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts as Israel did when they rebelled.”

Psalm 95:7-9 (NLT2)

7 for he is our God. We are the people he watches over, the flock under his care. If only you would listen to his voice today!

8 The LORD says, “Don’t harden your hearts as Israel did at Meribah, as they did at Massah in the wilderness.

9 For there, your ancestors tested and tried my patience, even though they saw everything I did.

Lesson: Each of us can have a blessed life when we keep a tender heart. We do this by heeding to the voice of God and not turning away from what He tells us to do.
