Greetings to all, on this "grateful Thursday, we have so much to thank God for. Let us be thankful for His deliverance throughout the generations. Amen
It's written, and we've heard it said that the devil came to steal, kill, and destroy! Jesus lets us know He came to give us life.
While every person is responsible for their sins, some patterns and behaviors run in families. As believers, God promises to us and all generations to come a life led and guided by the Holy Spirit, who has the power to bind any strongholds and curses.
Psalm 102:18-20 (MSG)
18 Write this down for the next generation, so people not yet born will praise GOD:
19 "GOD looked out from His high holy place; from heaven, He surveyed the earth.
20 He listened to the groans of the doomed; He opened the doors of their death cells."
Ezekiel 18:1-4 (GW)
1 The LORD spoke his word to me. He said,
2 "What do you mean when you use this proverb about the land of Israel: 'Fathers have eaten sour grapes, and their children's teeth are set on edge'?
3 As I live, declares the Almighty LORD, you will no longer use this proverb in Israel.
4 The life of every person belongs to me. Fathers and their children belong to me. The person who sins will die.
Lesson: Thank God He forgives and that He judges fair. We are not doomed by what our parents and ancestors have done. As we praise God, the passage of generational strongholds and the ties that the enemy tries to tie to us is cut, broken, and destroyed.
