Decrease Can Be an Increase

Writer: NamieNamie

Greetings to all; on this "grateful" Thursday, let us continue to thank God for our increases in friends and some decreases in friends.

Many of us take the time to thank God for the blessings we have received. This most often means that we are receiving what we associate with adding to or something tangible that makes our lives better. When the price for living a Godly life means losing people, not everybody takes the time to thank God. Nobody wants to take an "L" on relationships and friends. "L" refers to a loss.

1 Peter 4:14 (NCV)

14 When people insult you because you follow Christ, you are blessed because the glorious Spirit, the Spirit of God, is with you.

Lesson: Being alone is not healthy. Our relationships, especially with God, have codes of behavior. While friendships enrich our lives, losing friends also teaches us lessons. We learn to embrace gains and losses that help us grow and appreciate our journey.
