Dare To Be Different

Greetings to all, this Tuesday, as we choose to live a holy life, let's strive to live in peace with everyone.

There are blessings when we seek to make that inner connection with God. However, there will be times we won't fit in with the crowd, and that's ok because God didn't create us to fit in with the world.

Those who don't understand what it is to make and have an inner connection with God often assume that perfection is required. Daring to be different sometimes requires us to choose the narrow way, but by no means equating to being perfect because no one is perfect.

1 John 2:15-17 (MSG)

15 Don't love the world's ways. Don't love the world's goods. Love of the world squeezes out love for the Father.

16 Practically everything that goes on in the world—wanting your way, wanting everything for yourself, wanting to appear important—has nothing to do with the Father. It just isolates you from him.

17 The world and all its wanting, wanting, wanting is on the way out—but whoever does what God wants is set for eternity.

Lesson: Because we are all loved by God and important to Him, we should all be motivated to live a holy life and be who He created us to be. But if we say that we do not belong to the world, we must dare to be different and don't do the things that will dishonor God.
