Crossing Monkey Bars

Greetings to all; this Friday, as this week comes to an end, let us move forward and let go.

No matter how painful a situation is, holding on to it can feel like hanging on monkey bars. To the ones who have not yet mastered the travel of the monkey bars, it is fearful to let go. Like moving on the monkey bars, we must let go of some things in life to move forward. Other than just dropping down, moving forward is the only way to progress.

"Getting over painful experience is much like crossing monkey bars. You have to let gо at some point in order to move forward." -C.S. Lewis.

Isaiah 41:13 (NCV)

13 I am the LORD your God, who holds your right hand, and I tell you, 'Don't be afraid. I will help you.'

Lesson: Prayer is always our way of letting go. However, when fearful, God's presence is our ultimate answer when trying to let go.
