Greetings to all; on this "hump" day Wednesday, as we travel the path set aside for us, let us give thanks to God for those who comfort us.
Because troubles exist, life can be challenging. With our experience with suffering, we can help each other navigate trouble. Be aware that when we find ourselves comforting and shouldering the responsibilities of others, it increases our need for comfort, too.
2 Corinthians 1:3–4 (NCV)
3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is the Father who is full of mercy and all comfort.
4 He comforts us every time we have trouble, so when others have trouble, we can comfort them with the same comfort God gives us.
Lesson: The God of all comfort is the God who comforts His people. He desires that we be stewards of our comfort, passing it on to others.
