Greetings to all, on this Saturday, let us thank God for Jesus, the living water that satisfies our thirsty souls. As we stand in God's presence today, may our bodies, hearts, and souls long to be saturated by His Holy Spirit. Amen
Are you looking for a blessing today? Jesus said, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness" (Matthew 5:6).
We all know the feeling of being thirsty when nothing can quench it but a drink of water. Jesus talked about water not for the body but the spirit as He shows who is to the people.
He is the living water that quenches the spiritual thirst and freely gives it to anyone who desires to receive eternal quenching.
John 7:37-38 (NCV)
37 On the last and most important day of the feast Jesus stood up and said in a loud voice, "Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink.
38 If anyone believes in me, rivers of living water will flow out from that person's heart, as the Scripture says. "
Lesson: What are you lonely or thirsty for in your life? Is your relationship with God in a lonely or dry place?
Jesus extends an invitation to anyone thirsty to come to Him to get a drink because only He can fully satisfy our deepest longings and desires.
