Greetings to all. As we worship this Sunday, let us open our hearts to receive God's soothing comfort and restorative healing in times of despair, sorrow, and sin.
Let us shed the clothes of sorrow and sin to feel God's comfort and healing in our mourning or distress. We have heard the saying: "Joy comes in the morning." What if it does not come as we wanted or expected? When we turn it over to God, we trust God to turn our mourning into dancing.
Psalm 30:11–12 (GW)
11 You have changed my sobbing into dancing. You have removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy
12 so my soul may praise you with music and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks to you forever.
Lesson: Bringing our struggles and heartaches before God with praise allows Him to meet us in our despair. He re-dresses us, heals our hearts, and transforms our sorrow into joyful celebration.
