Christ Is The Head Of This House

Greetings to all, as we assemble and gather to worship this Sunday, let us pray for those who are not committed to a body of believers. May we all be aware and connect with the presence of God. Amen

There are many churches throughout every community, and many churchgoers gather in them. It's not enough that we go to Church; Christ chose to do His work through the Church, and for us to fulfill the mission of Christ, we are to be committed and connected to the Church.

In comparison, in each of us is where the Spirit of God resides. We can also find His presence in the physical building. Biblically speaking, Christ is the Head of everything.

Ephesians 1:22-23 (MSG)

22 He is in charge of it all, has the final word on everything. At the center of all this, Christ rules the Church.

23 The Church, you see, is not peripheral to the world; the world is peripheral to the Church. The Church is Christ's body, in which he speaks and acts, by which he fills everything with his presence.

Colossians 1:18 (TLB)

18 He is the Head of the body made up of his people—that is, his Church—which he began; and he is the Leader of all those who arise from the dead so that he is first in everything;

Lesson: While personal time with God is essential and should be done daily. Our corporate time when we gather with others is crucial and should be a place of mentoring, discipleship, unity, love, and have the power to change lives because Christ is the Head.
