Greetings to all, let us thank God for the start of this new week. May we surrender every area of our lives to Him and let us seek and use every opportunity to say yes to what God has for us this week. Amen
Every day someone is asking the question, "Can God really use me? There is no heavier weight to carry than the burden of us thinking that we are useless and unredeemable because of something that we have done.
When we hold on to the thought of who we want to be or what we want to do, rather than surrendering to who God says we are and what he wants us to do; we leave room for the enemy to convince us that we are indeed not worthy or lack perfection for God's use.
God does not look for us to be perfect, but He is looking for obedience and a yes. We've all been given gifts by God so that we can serve. As God's people, we must rely on the spirit's power to help us yield and be obedient each day. When we allow the spirit, He will shape us into presentable and useful vessels.
2 Timothy 2:21 (NLT2)
21 If you keep yourself pure, you will be a special utensil for honorable use. Your life will be clean, and you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good work.
Psalm 37:7 (GW)
7 Surrender yourself to the LORD and wait patiently for him. Do not be preoccupied with {an evildoer} who succeeds in his way when he carries out his schemes.
Lesson: Yes, God can, and He will use each of us. We must know and be willing to surrender to who we are in Christ.
We must never allow the things that we've done, make us feel ashamed or guilty, thinking that God can no longer use us.
