Greetings to all, may each of our days continue to be blessed with peace. Let us thank God for His presence and the peace that He gives as we come to the end of this week. Amen
Whether it's in our homes or our jobs, life can be complicated; many of us have asked what peace?
It seems like getting along with some folks is just hard to do. Despite everyone's failure to live in harmony and having one love, the word lets us know that God strengthens us, and He blesses us with peace (Psalm 29:11).
However, we are called to get along with each other as best as possible in this world.
Romans 12:18 (HCSB)
18 If possible, on your part, live at peace with everyone.
Living in total peace with everyone is impossible because there are so many hurt people who hurt people. Often we find ourselves agreeing to disagree respectfully with each other to keep the peace.
James 3:18 (TLB)
18 And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of goodness.
Lesson: As God's people, living in harmony, we are called to do our part to keep the peace. We must strive to have a bond of peace with each other.
Let us allow God to use us to sow seeds of peace. We do this by first focusing on God and not ourselves.
