Greetings to all, on this "grateful" Thursday, let us give humble thanks to God in our prayers throughout the day and let us be ready to do and to receive all God has for us. Amen
Our God is amazing, and He desires to bless each of us! There are always blessings we can thank God for. However, we often miss out on receiving from God because we allow Satan to distract us from having an attitude of gratitude for what God does for us and discourage us from expecting the blessings God has coming our way.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (MSG)
16 Be cheerful no matter what;
17 pray all the time;
18 thank God, no matter what happens. This is the way God wants you who belong to Christ Jesus to live.
Psalm 9:1-3 (NLT2)
1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done.
2 I will be filled with joy because of you. I will sing praises to your name, O Most High.
3 My enemies retreated; they staggered and died when you appeared.
Lesson: Although we may find ourselves in difficult times when we obey the command to always talk to God in prayer, we can rejoice and be thankful in everything no matter what happens.
