Greetings to all; despite the things that have passed, let us do our best to forget them and move on.
Starting or doing something new is intimidating. In theory, moving on and forgetting the past is easy. We will fight a losing battle unless we are brave enough to abide in and trust the Lord to help us.
Isaiah 43:18-19 (ASV)
18 Remember ye, not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now shall it spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
Lesson: God does not want us stuck in our past. And because we sometimes fear leaving the past, God always creates something new. We only need to be brave enough to try the new.
