Greetings to all; this weekend, let us get off the routine and beaten path to rest from yesterday's worries.
We cannot rest because we worry about yesterday's and tomorrow's problems. Ask people when they are most at rest; the answer is when they are asleep or after a power nap. Whether rest is needed for the body or our minds, blissful rest can make us feel better and improve our lives.
Romans 8:38–39 (GW)
38 I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love which Christ Jesus our Lord shows us. We cannot be separated by death or life, by angels or rulers, by anything in the present or anything in the future, by forces
39 or powers in the world above, in the world below, or by anything else in creation.
Lesson: As we take or make some time to rest, hold on to the assurance that nothing can compare to or give us blissful rest, which comes through God's love.
