Greetings to all, trusting we feel positive and more confident than when we started this week. I pray that this Friday is a better day and things are better despite the hardships we may have faced.
None of us want to experience difficult days in our lives, and our lives may not be where we want them to be either. We are often unable to see or even feel relief whenever we find ourselves wrapped in the arms of chaotic and difficult days that seem to be inevitable.
However, we can be optimistic because God promises that those days are only temporary in this life; we can make it through them because He is with us and that better days are coming.
2 Corinthians 4:16-18 (GW)
16 That is why we are not discouraged. Though outwardly we are wearing out, inwardly we are renewed day by day.
17 Our suffering is light and temporary and is producing for us an eternal glory that is greater than anything we can imagine.
18 We don't look for things that can be seen but for things that can't be seen. Things that can be seen are only temporary. But things that can't be seen last forever.
Lesson: It may take a lifetime, a day, or years, but our best is yet to come. We must make up our minds that no matter what discourages us in life, it will not make us give up on the promise of God that better days are coming.
