Greetings to all; as we begin this new week, let us not underestimate the consequences of the company we keep, the invitations we accept, and the tables we sit at.
Scripture reveals that God, in His infinite wisdom, prepares a table for each of us. That metaphor shows His provision and reminds us of His unwavering care and support in our daily lives. It is a testament that we are never alone on our journey. And have divine assistance in dealing with those who oppose us.
Mark 14:18–19 (NCV)
18 While they were all eating, Jesus said, "I tell you the truth, one of you will turn against me—one of you eating with me now."
19 The followers were very sad to hear this. Each one began to say to Jesus, "I am not the one, am I?"
Lesson: Our behavior and that of others can profoundly impact our spiritual journey, either propelling us toward growth or holding us back. Never let it be said that you betray others by stabbing them in the back.
