Greetings to all, on this "grateful" Thursday, let us be quick to honor and obey God's commands and not forget all that He does for us. Amen
I'm sure each of us wants to have everything we need in life; the problem is that we are often not willing to do what it takes. There are blueprints and instructions for everything in life and can require something different from each of us.
1 John 5:3 (MSG)
3 The proof that we love God comes when we keep his commandments, and they are not at all troublesome.
God desires that we be our best and have the best; while He is willing and able to do everything concerning our needs, He also expects us to respond to Him with obedience. Being obedient to God should be our first and foremost priority, but because of distractions and demands of life, many times, our willingness to be obedient can be the hardest thing for us to do
Isaiah 1:19-20 (NIV)
19 If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the best from the land;
20 but if you resist and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword." For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.
Lesson: As God's Children, our willingness and obedience matter because it pleases God. We must always choose to be willing and obedient. They are the keys to and the secret to our success and will bring us blessings. The greater our willingness and obedience, the greater will be our spiritual growth and our benefits.
