greetings to all, on this Tuesday, may we not let pride fill and deceive our hearts, and may we remain humble and allow the spirit of the Lord to rule.
While it's natural for us to embrace our strengths and strive to achieve success in life, we can find ourselves in high places where our hearts deceive us and causes us to treat others poorly.
Obadiah 3–4 (RSV)
3The pride of your heart has deceived you, you who live in the clefts of the rock, whose dwelling is high, who say in your heart, "Who will bring me down to the ground?"
4Though you soar aloft like the eagle, though your nest is set among the stars, thence I will bring you down, says the LORD.
Lesson: Because God will judge us for how we treat others, we should be determined to finish what we start in life well without mistreating and despising others by thinking more highly of ourselves. God says we can be brought down.
