Greetings to all, HAPPY NEW YEAR! Let us thank God for this new year, and let's not look back on the past year with regret and denial. Let us thank God in advance for what's ahead for us. May we experience His presence and all the good it brings, and may we love Him, even more this year. Amen
Despite the setbacks and the lows of 2020, the Lord has done great things for us!
Isaiah 43:18-20 (NLT2)
18 "But forget all that— it is nothing compared to what I am going to do.
19 For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.
20 The wild animals in the fields will thank me, the jackals and owls, too, for giving them water in the desert. Yes, I will make rivers in the dry wasteland so my chosen people can be refreshed.
When we reflect on all that we've seen and heard this new year, let us not forget we serve a faithful God who is the master of making things new and unique and that His mercies are new each day( Ref. Psalm 126:3).
1 Corinthians 2:9 (NLT2)
9 That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him."
This year, may He give each of us enough of what we need and want according to His will and make all our plans succeed(Ref. Psalm 20:4).
Lesson: As we leave 2020, let us see it as our departure from the wilderness and into our new promise land 2021, whereby we continue to trust and live in Christ.
