Greetings to all. As we begin the week this Monday, let us strive to be somebody—not just anybody, but somebody for God.
Some people spend a lifetime trying to prove to others that they are somebody. They try to show them what they can do or be. There are times when we do surprise those who do not expect us to be somebody. Being somebody for God outweighs being somebody we try to show and be for others.
Galatians 6:3 (GW)
3 So, if any one of you thinks you are important when you are really not, you are only fooling yourself.
Lesson: Everyone wants to be somebody, and we will probably not all be seen as superstars. Being somebody for God should be our goal and surpass any expectations we or others can have for us. It is okay to be average when it pleases God and benefits others.
