Greetings to all, let us thank God for another blessed Saturday morning, we have made it to the weekend. Let us praise God for the past week and let us choose not to think about any negative situations that we may have faced this week. May this day bring us more wisdom, strength, peace, and joy as we continue to keep our minds on God. Amen
We must learn how to manage our minds, and sometimes we must think differently from the status quo. Each day we must choose where we will place our thoughts because they control our lives. The Lord has promised to keep us in perfect peace when our minds and hearts stay on Him.
Proverbs 4:20-23 (NCV) 20 My child, pay attention to my words; listen closely to what I say. 21 Don’t ever forget my words; keep them always in mind. 22 They are the key to life for those who find them; they bring health to the whole body. 23 Be careful what you think, because your thoughts run your life. Romans 8:5-9 (HCSB) 5 For those who live according to the flesh think about the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, about the things of the Spirit. 6 For the mind-set of the flesh is death, but the mind-set of the Spirit is life and peace. 7 For the mind-set of the flesh is hostile to God because it does not submit itself to God’s law, for it is unable to do so. 8 Those who are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 You, however, are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, since the Spirit of God lives in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him. Philippians 4:8-9 (NCV) 8 Brothers and sisters, think about the things that are good and worthy of praise. Think about the things that are true and honorable and right and pure and beautiful and respected. 9 Do what you learned and received from me, what I told you, and what you saw me do. And the God who gives peace will be with you. Lesson: Our minds are our greatest asset, and more than anything, Satan desires to have it!
The key to us having peace and happiness, which comes from the Lord, is to control our minds, because Satan will attack and bring conflict and stress to our uncontrolled minds.
As a Man thinketh in his heart, so is he (proverbs 23:7).
