Greetings to all, on this Monday, let us begin our week with optimism trusting God to work things out in our favor. Let no circumstances cloud or distort our view of God's goodness. Amen
Life is about choices, and we have the option to be optimistic or pessimistic. Being optimistic proves good when we keep all things in their proper perspective and do not ignore reality. However, many people have perceptions that are so perverted they cause us to debate the truth.
Be aware of those who choose to put on imaginary rose-colored glasses. They will favorably see the negativity in the world if it means they will gain fleeting moments of what they want. They deny reality and only want to see and accept the world the way they want to see it and deny pain, problems, and troubles.
None of us can deny the truth of God that we will have troubles in this world and that He has already won the victory.
2 Corinthians 4:17-18 (MSG)
17 These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us.
18 There's far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can't see now will last forever.
Lesson: Let us not be deceived by the distorted truths of others. But, when tempted not to see the best in each other, let us be reminded that while none of us are perfect, we have all been made clean, and God sees the best of us.
