Another Promise Of Hope

Greetings to all, today is "hump" day Wednesday, and we have made it halfway through this week. Let us continue to remain hopeful that God will work everything out in our lives even though it looks impossible. Amen.

There's going to be times in each of our lives when we will face things that will appear to be impossible, and they may be impossible for us.

The gospels of Matthew 19:26, Mark 10:27, and Luke 1:37, also known as the synoptic Gospels, all share in similarity that things will be impossible with men but not with God. With God, all things are possible.

We can continue to walk this week in the promises of Hope in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. However, things in our lives may look impossible.

For any of us who are worried or anxious, there is strength for today and power to finish this week strong.

Matthew 6:27 (GW)

27 "Can any of you add a single hour to your life by worrying?

When things seem impossible, we must know that we serve a God who is able. The circumstances and situations that we think are impossible are possible. No matter what we may be facing, He is the God of possibilities and the God of impossibilities.

Exodus 14:21-22 (GW)

21 Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea. All that night the LORD pushed back the sea with a strong east wind and turned the sea into dry ground. The water divided,

22 and the Israelites went through the middle of the sea on dry ground. The water stood like a wall on their right and on their left.

Luke 1:36-38 (AMP)

36 And listen! Your relative Elizabeth in her old age has also conceived a son, and this is now the sixth month with her who was called barren.

37 For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment.

38 Then Mary said, Behold, I am the handmaiden of the Lord; let it be done to me according to what you have said. And the angel left her.

I chose the two above stories in the bible to show how God assured His people of his unlimited power. In the book of Exodus, God assured Moses and the Israelites of His limitless power. And In the book of Luke, He assured and comforted young Mary, the mother to be of Jesus, of His unlimited power.

Lesson: Despite our circumstances or situations that we may face today, this week, or in our life that seem impossible or feel like it's not going to work in our favor, We must remember who our God is.

We must trust God for yet another one of His promises of hope because there is nothing too hard for Him.
