Anger, an Outward Expression

Greetings to all. As we end this week, let us strive to show patience and remain free from anger.

Anger is an emotion that is often misunderstood. We usually do not know what to do with our feelings and understanding the emotions of others can also be challenging. Patience is the key to understanding anger because we will not always be able to discern the emotions we see in others.

Proverbs 14:29 (NLT)

29 People with understanding control their anger; a hot temper shows great foolishness.

Lesson: Instead of reacting immediately, we should take a moment to understand their thinking when dealing with others. When someone expresses their emotions, remember that what looks and feels like anger can reflect feelings of internal hurt, fear, or frustration.
