Greetings to all, on this Tuesday, as we move through the week, may we let our Christian way of living speak louder than our words. Amen
Often, people try to convince us that they care about us or that we matter to them. When it comes to trusting others, at some point in life, we will all encounter someone we trust more than we should.
We tend to throw all cautions to the wind, only to find that we have put too much stock in what people say rather than watching what they do.
Titus 1:16 (MSG)
16 They say they know God, but their actions speak louder than their words. They're real creeps, disobedient good-for-nothings.
We can, and at times, be fooled by the words that people speak. But, let us not be that someone who has so much to say but no action to back up what we say. On occasion, we will learn that some people's words are meaningless because they are without efforts or actions.
Not saying never trust, but saying people will show us how they feel about us and when they do, we should believe them.
Lesson: When we want to know what others are thinking, don't allow what they are saying to distract or deflect us, and we shouldn't listen to what they are saying. We should look at what they are doing. Remember, our actions always speak louder than our words.
