A Portrait of Love

Greetings to all. Happy Resurrection Sunday! This Sunday, as we worship, let us remember why we give God the best of ourselves.

Despite the world's evil and corruption, God remains faithful. He continually shows His glory, primarily through His ultimate act of love in sacrificing His only Son for us.

John 3:16–17 (MSG)

16 "This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life.

17 God didn't go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again.

Lesson: God desires us to understand His deep love for us. If you are giving God your second best, take a moment to reflect on the love He freely gives to us all.
