Greetings to all, good morning, afternoon, or good evening. Thank God that we have made it to the weekend. As we enjoy this well awaited day of rest for most people; let us thank God for an opportunity of freshness in our life. Amen
For many, the end of the week is the best. But every day starts with a new beginning or a fresh start, which comes with great promises and hope. No matter how wayward or off course our life is right now, each day, God offers each of us a fresh start.
We're given a chance to have a fresh start if we accept God's promises. We don't have to focus on what might have been.
God will wash away our sins, and we can receive a new heart for Him and have His Spirit within us.
Ezekiel 36:25-27 (GW)
25 I will sprinkle clean water on you and make you clean instead of unclean. Then I will cleanse you from all your idols.
26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you. I will remove your stubborn hearts and give you obedient hearts.
27 I will put my Spirit in you. I will enable you to live by my laws, and you will obey my rules.
Lesson: Just as God promised to restore and give a fresh start the people of Israel, He will do the same for each of us.
God has a desire to give us a new heart for following Him, and He wants to put His Spirit within each of us to give us a fresh start and enable us to do His will.
