A Life Of Gratitude

Greetings to all, on this "grateful" Thursday, let us not forget to show our gratitude to God for the immeasurable blessings He bestows on us as we live grateful lives. Amen

There is not one of us who doesn't want more in our lives or be better. However, like the Apostle Paul, we must learn to be content, satisfied, and happy with what we already have.

Because we don't always know how to be happy or content, sometimes, in our pursuit of being better or getting more, we delay or possibly miss some blessings God has for our lives.

Philippians 4:12 (MSG)

12 I'm just as happy with little as with much, with much as with little. I've found the recipe for being happy, whether full or hungry, hands full or hands empty.

Ephesians 3:20 (MSG)

20 God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.

Lesson: When we see life as God sees it, we are happiest and most content. Let us live a life of gratitude, knowing that God supplies all of our needs according to His riches. He has a standard of living that He has for each of us, and it is to be content not in the abundance of things but by being content in Christ.
