A Hard Fall

Greetings to all; this Tuesday, as we progress through life, let us be humble and allow the Lord to give us our high positions.

In life, we may not be as perfect as we think. We have our faults and can find ourselves riding high horses. We cannot get along with others because we believe the earth revolves around us and our beliefs.

Acts 9:3–5 (GW)

3 As Saul was coming near Damascus, a light from heaven suddenly flashed around him.

4 He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, "Saul! Saul! Why are you persecuting me?"

5 Saul asked, "Who are you, sir?" The person replied, "I'm Jesus, the one you're persecuting.

Lesson: In our daily interactions, we should aim to be seen by others, not from the position of a high horse. To avoid the hard fall from our high horse is to lower ourselves in love and humility before the Lord and others.
