A Gratitude Check-In

Greetings to all, we know that every day is a day of thanksgiving! Yesterday is gone, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a blessing. May God rain down blessing after blessing on each of us on this "grateful" Thursday. Amen

I know that many of us are trying to get used to this season of being still during this pandemic. I've adjusted to having this much cherished time to do some of the things that I knew God was calling me to do.

I must say, I had no idea how what He wanted me to do would look, but I'm so grateful and humbled for the process of how he has put me in this place of sharing His word every morning with the groups that He has created through me. I love spending time early in the morning with God and praying for each of you.

Today we are encouraged to do a gratitude check!!! What are you grateful for, and How is your attitude toward worship?

"The attitudes that we have in our heart and thinking will determine our life and how high it will go with God."

God wants to bless His people and doesn't want us only checking the boxes of religious acts; the word tells us to stay away from those who act religious, for they will reject the power that could make them Godly (2 Timothy 3:5 NLT2).

Psalm 67:5-7 (GW)

5 Let the people give thanks to you, O God. Let all the people give thanks to you.

6 The earth has yielded its harvest. May God, our God, bless us.

7 May God bless us, and may all the ends of the earth worship him.

We must understand that the message of this psalm is written for the entire world for all times, and that includes each of us today. We must worship God in spirit and truth!

Psalm 100:1-5 (MSG)

1 A thanksgiving psalm On your feet now—applaud GOD!

2 Bring a gift of laughter, sing yourselves into his presence.

3 Know this: GOD is God, and God, GOD. He made us; we didn't make him. We're his people, his well-tended sheep.

4 Enter with the password: "Thank you!" Make yourselves at home, talking praise. Thank him. Worship him.

5 For GOD is sheer beauty, all-generous in love, loyal always and ever.

Lesson: We have an enemy who wants to wear us down so that we will lose interest in worshiping our Good God.

Let us dare to soar like an eagle, "because when it feels like we're about to fall, it may be that we're about to fly."
